Pass the Insurance Exam is an independent exam-preparation site operated in Ontario, Canada. Contact: hello@passtheinsuranceexam.ca.
What we collect
- Your answers to the readiness check and your score.
- If you choose to give them: your email address, your language preference, your employer or sponsoring brokerage, and roughly when you plan to take the exam.
- How you reached the site: advertising parameters in the link you clicked and the referring page.
- A random identifier stored in your browser so your answers stay together. It is not linked to your name unless you give us your email.
Why we collect it
- To show you your results.
- To contact you about a reservation you made, or with product updates if you ticked that box.
- To learn which advertisements and which languages are worth investing in.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information. We do not use advertising trackers on this site.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages and steps people use. It sets cookies and sends usage data, such as pages viewed and your approximate location, to Google, which may process it outside Canada. We do not send your email address or your answers to Google. You can block it with a browser setting or extension and the site still works.
Where it is stored
The site and its database are hosted by Cloudflare, which also provides the check that tells people from automated traffic on our forms. Confirmation emails are sent through Resend. Your information may be stored and processed outside Canada.
